Construction Documents

Typical Construction Documents consist of two-dimensional drawings and associated specifications for the purpose of guiding and directing the contractor to carry out their work on a project. While this method has been used for decades, more and more often developers and contractors are faced with the following challenges:

  • the provided IFC drawings do not contain adequate information
  • design oversights either force impractical solutions or are value engineered/eliminated
  • accumulating time and costs caused by the above issues increase tensions between the designers, contractor, and developer.

Fortunately there is a better way!

JAG Form’s roots started in the construction and development industry. We combine our building execution experience with our strong passion for design to ensure the technical details are properly illustrated in a practical way.

Using our IPD process, the contractor’s participation during the design phase provides for; pre-construction planning, more timely and informed understanding of the design, and resolving design-related issues.

JAG Form utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) which consists of three-dimensional digital modeling technology, for the project team to engage.
